Hexagonal throw done!! Hourray!!!!!

Good morning sweeties around the world,

My hexagonal throw is finally finished 🙂 Do you remember the very first post about it? It was on November 3 a little while ago… and now that it’s done I am happy with how it turned out…Let’s see some pics, shall we?

It is not a big throw…it is big enough to decorate my couch

and decorate my future couch (which will be in a light beige color) in the new house :):) (Can’t wait for the move anymore…It will be on the first of march so I have more than 4 weeks to be prepared)

More pics? Yalla…

I crocheted this throw using the leftover yarns of the MONSTER …So it is : Stylecraft special DK a 100% acrylic yarn using a 3.5 mm hook…

and I crocheted a very simple border with the white color made with dc and some “picots”

Sorry if some pics are a little blurry…

Hope you enjoyed the pics…One more before I go…

and to save the best for the last…My favorite one:

Feel like you are in a Gustav Klimt painting, don’t you? :):)

One last thing before I go, if you have facebook come and join “le monde de Sucrette” group I’ll be more than happy to have you between my friends there and let me know it so I can join your group or page if you have one …

Have a beautiful day wherever you are,

Kisses,

Sucrette

Quick hello!

Good morning ,

Just a quick post with two pics to say hello and wish you a wonderful weekend !

Sorry again for this coming period and the fact that I’ll be less present here…but this do not mean I am not crocheting…no no no…I am 🙂 in the evenings, in front of the TV, to distress and let go all the problems of the day 🙂

and this is my ripple blanket which became a little bigger 🙂 Mmmmh Love it… and love to snuggle under it as it is very soft 🙂

Before leaving you I want to thank you again for all the nice comments you are leaving …They make my heart dance with joy 🙂

and one last thing: I am not from France, I am from a little beautiful country called Lebanon you are welcome to visit anytime 🙂 I have a French background that’s why my English is not so good 😉

Have a beautiful weekend and thank you again for your visit,

Sucrette

New wip: Fairy tale blanket

Good morning dear friend,

I may be in a hurry and super concerned about our coming “move” … this did not stop me from beginning a new crochet project I want to share with you today 🙂

This project holds a special place in my heart and I wanted from a while ago to make it… I fall in love with many pics of it on the net (like here and here and again here) but it was Jacquie from Bunny Mummy who inspired me most of all with hers…(Isn’t it the most wonderful piece of art you’ve ever seen???)  Thank you again Jacquie!

So, This is for you my friend the very first pics of my wip Fairy tale blanket…

I’ll make this blanket to cover one of my girls beds…They will fight for sure for it 🙂I will use 24 different colors for this blanket…

I made small balls of the yarns so I can carry them all together (the 24 colors) wherever I go…

I’ll use one of the baby bags I used to carry diapers, bottles of milk and bibs with it 🙂

They are very practical … and full of precious memories 🙂

Before leaving you my friend, I want to thank Clara for the Stylish blogger award I received from her 🙂 Thank you so much Clara you made my day with the award and all the sweet comments you left for me today…

This is the second time I receive this award and I am very happy 🙂 You can find my post about the Stylish blogger award here.

Have a wonderful day everyone and see you soon 😉

My creative friday…

Good friday morning my friend,

How’s everything today?

I’ll be less present here in the coming weeks and I’ll miss all of you 🙁

Because we’re moving to a new house, maybe in march, I’ll be most of the time, out of house for the next weeks to come, running from a place to another to finalize every single detail of our “move” and this is a lot of work …

So, today, I’ll show you my progress with the new ripple blanket I am making…slowly

…with no rush for the first time

… enjoying every single stitch 🙂

I also started a  new project and I’ll show you for sure something next time 😉

So stay tuned!

and, before I forget, if you like to link or visit some lovely blogs, go every friday and saturday here and here! Great places with a lot of inspiration!

Have a beautiful friday!

Angie

Happy 2011 and new wip :)

Good morning sweeties,

Hope you’ve had a great new year’s eve !

This is my first 2011 post and I am so happy to begin it with a new crochet project 🙂

I started this project two weeks ago… I wanted a blanket with no holes something with plain and warm colors to keep myself warm during this winter that just started in my country…

So I decided to make a ripple blanket with my new stash of yarns…do you remember this pic?

I am gonna use these yarns but without the soft colored ones…This is what I made so far:

I decided to crochet this blanket with no hurry, slowly, in the evenings in front of the TV…enjoying every stitch made 🙂

and making other small crochet projects in the same time…

What do you think? Will it looks good?

I am making also some progress on my hexagonal blanket…and this one is looking great so far…

That’s all folks!

Thank you for being here and visiting “le monde de Sucrette” and a big THANK YOU for all your comments and wishes! I am so proud and happy to have you all as friends and I hope we will have a good crafty 2011 full of health and love!

Warm greetings,

Angie
