New scarf project and a pattern :)

Good morning my friend,

How are you today?

I was so inspired two days ago after seeing the lovely post of Lucy about her new shawl project…so inspired that I took my hook right away and tried the pattern she used…

The pattern is lovely but I wanted to make a long scarf , something like a long neck warmer you know what I mean? and this pattern was kind of “bold” for a scarf…I wanted something “lighter” (Is that a word?)

So, I took an old crochet magazine and transformed my way a pattern made originally for a doily…and I loved it so much……so much…that I crocheted a flower and after another flower etc…with leftover yarns….

…so much that I made right away a graphic pattern for the modified version of the original pattern…

…so much that I want to continue making a long series of flowers to make a very long scarf I can wrap it two or three timesย  around my neck…

so? what do you think? Do you want to join in? You can make a “light” shawl with this pattern too or some coasters maybe ๐Ÿ™‚ I have to leave you now and return to my new project ๐Ÿ™‚ (so excited about it!!!!!!!!!)

Have a beautiful week end!

Angie

Olรฉ Olรฉ blanket: The border

Good evening ladies,
Hope everything is fine !

Let me begin this post by thanking each and every one of you… one by one… every single one… for every sweet comment you left on my Olรฉ Olรฉ blanket post…Your words filled my heart with a big joy and I felt sooo happy reading them ๐Ÿ™‚

A BIIIIIIIIIG THANK YOU!

This is, as promised, the graphic pattern of the border of Olรฉ Olรฉ blanket:

You have to make two rows of dc first and for the third row (in red) all you have to do is to crochet by following the steps 1, 2, 3 and 4 (in light blue)

It is very easy, you’ll see as soon as you’ll try ๐Ÿ˜‰

And for you who asked for the pattern of the blanket, I am so sorry…I took it from this french book , but you can find something quite similar in the blog of the wonderful Lucy here. ๐Ÿ˜‰

That’s all my friend!

Hope I made it clear…

Do not hesitate to ask any question, I’ll be more than happy to answer ๐Ÿ™‚

Have a great and warm evening!

Angie

Yara’s poncho!

Hello!

I’ve been working on this custom-made poncho during this we and I made the last final row yesterday! It is for a 6 months old princess called Yara ๐Ÿ™‚

I know it is not my kind of colors choice but it turned out beautiful and I am very happy with the result ๐Ÿ™‚

The colors are so soft and I stitched a 3d crocheted flower on it…

If your interested in making one you can find the very-easy-pattern here ๐Ÿ™‚

Hope you like it! I am sure it will be wonderful on little Yara ๐Ÿ˜‰

Have a perfect Wednesday!

Angie

Fairy tale blanket: 2 rows and 24 circles!

Good morning lovely ladies,

Thank you for all your sweet comments on my hexagon blanket… they made me sooo happy ๐Ÿ™‚

It is so good to see you today after this busy week…

The weather here is gray, it is raining and I have a sort of very bad cold so I am not at the top ๐Ÿ™

Today, some pics (I took yesterday when the sky was blue) of my wip fairy tale blanket which will become – I hope so- a bedspread for one of the girls…

2 rows and 24 circles done so far ๐Ÿ™‚ looking great don’t you think?

Did you see my new big plastic bowl? (I don’t know if it is called a bowl or basket or something else but you understand what I mean I am sure ๐Ÿ™‚ ) Isn’t it cute?

It is the perfect “thing” to use at home while crocheting many colors…You can see all the yarns and choose the color that you want …I am very happy with this and I think it is the best “container” I’ve ever had for crochet…and I can tell you that I am addicted to buying this sort of things ๐Ÿ™‚ hehe

I prefer buying yarns and baskets and things for the house etc rather than buying clothes for me ๐Ÿ™‚ I think we are all here like this, don’t you?

and now I am working on a custom-made-order of a very cute “thing” for a small princess… I hope I’ll show it to you done this week… so, stay tuned ๐Ÿ˜‰

and have a lovely warm monday!

Angie
