Ripples of happiness :)

Good morning my sweeties,

Such a beautiful monday morning today here in this very small part of the world…The sun is shining and even though it is a little cold I like the bright sunshine fresh beginning of the day πŸ™‚

As you may already guessed, today’s post is a tadaaaa one and I am soooo thrilled to show you : Ripples of happiness in all its glory πŸ™‚

I’m in love with this blanket (It is always the case with every project I finish πŸ˜‰ ). It is so soft to touch so warm and cosy I can not resist wrapping myself in it every single night…

I did not make a proper border for this blanket as I wanted it to stay “curly” from both sides but I made a small edging to the beginning and the end sides and I just loved how it turned out πŸ™‚

Crochet hook: 4.5 mm

The yarn used is: NAKO Nakolen a 50%wool, 50% acrylic yarn ( and I have a very happy news for you my sweeties: A person e-mailed me from Nako, I asked for you about an online shop and he said that it will be available soon πŸ™‚ I’ll keep you informed as soon as I know more about it )

Blanket finished size: 120x170cm

You can find the pattern of this ripple here. I’ve made already my Ole Ole blanket using it …

This is my favorite pic (above) mmmm love love love it…

More pics for you to enjoy:

A close up to the edging made with crocheted little “picots”. Even though they are a little hard to crochet “picots” always makes simple but beautiful results …

I’ll leave you now with a last pic and wish you a wonderful and happy week!

Love you all !!

Flower power

Hello my sweeties,

How are you today? Here the sky is gray and it is raining πŸ™

Although the day is very dark I managed to take for you some pics of my finished painting … I could not wait to share with you πŸ˜‰

Here it is: Flower power in all its glory…

Tadaaaaaaaaaaaa

I don’t know yet if I should leave the background white or should I paint it in a very light color (like light blue or light salmon)…what do you think?

Thank you all for your wonderful comments on my previous post …it is thanks to you that I had the “courage” to post about my painting…as I am not very confident about it (I’ve never been in my whole life πŸ™‚ )

I’m finishing right now (slowly I can say) “stripes of love“…I still have 8 more rows to go and the edging… Hope I can show it to you done next week πŸ˜‰

I’m off now to begin a new painting (don’t know from where came this strange passion for painting these days)

Sending you some colors to brighten up your day… (if it is as gray as mine !)

Have a wonderful week end πŸ™‚
