Lovely days…

Good morning sweeties,

I am really really missing you these days ๐Ÿ™‚ I feel like I’m a little away from blogland even though I’m still crocheting …

I am better today…totally cured and in a very good shape… sunshine again in my life ๐Ÿ˜‰

Thank you so much for your lovely response about the baby set pattern…I am always very happy that you like that much the patterns I’m making ๐Ÿ™‚ It is a huge pleasure for me knowing that you’re crocheting the same little projects that I do ๐Ÿ™‚

There is so much happening here in my little house…The girls are at home and there is a lot of construction work happening…

My craft room will become very soon the new baby’s room… and downstairs, we have a huge inside parking for the cars, which will be divided into two rooms (one for my craft studio, the second for my hubby’s work) and a parking for our cars(not a huge one anymore). So we are now making walls, dividing the space, painting…etcย and I am dreaming….dreaming about my future place, just for me, just for my painting, my crochet and my sewing work ๐Ÿ™‚ and it fills me with such a huge joy….knowing that in a few weeks I will have a room for my new baby and downstairs a room just for my stuff, a room that I can decorate like I want and where I can do all the dreamy things I love to do…I am lucky I know ๐Ÿ™‚

I will show you all the pics of “before” and “after” if you love to have a peek ๐Ÿ˜‰ now there is just a big grey space…not so interesting to look at…

Talking about crochet…

I am finishing now the crocheted cover I’m making for my stool…

It is turning out great…can’t wait to show you…

and I’m working also on my baby granny blanket ….

crocheting small two-rounds colorful grannies …

to add them to the blanket… Oh how I love grannies…I am a granny lover…can’t get enough of them ๐Ÿ™‚

That’s what’s going on in my life these days…I am in a very happy mood…staying home… spending time with my girls…making projects for my little house… dreaming and getting kicked a lot from the little bundle of joy that is growing inside me ๐Ÿ™‚

I hope you’re feeling good too my friend…that the sun is shining for you wherever you are…

Have a beautiful day

Hello there!

It’s been an awful week for me …I was sick sick sick and feeling not good at all….three days with high temperature and an awful headache… I am now on antibiotics … and today I am a little better ๐Ÿ™‚

These days I was like sleeping all day long, not capable of going out from bed, turning on the computer was a very hard thing to do and holding a hook too ๐Ÿ™‚ I was feeling desperate … and felt like crying all day long ๐Ÿ™‚

Now, the sun is shining again for me and I amย feeling better…

These pics are from a project I’m making along with the baby granny blanket but I totally forgot to blog about it… It is a new cover for a leather stool I have… will show you more soon…

I really really missed blogging and hope to be more present with you next week. The girls are now on summer vacation and I have to begin preparing baby’s nursery etc…Hope to share all this with you my friends ๐Ÿ™‚

The baby set pattern is almost ready…will post it on monday (crossing my fingers)

I wish you a beautiful weekend and send you all my love!

P.S: I want to give a big thank you to Barbina for giving me the Sunshine Award! It brought sunshine to my day and made me so happy so I forgot for a while my awful headache ๐Ÿ™‚ THANK YOU Barbina!

Baby granny blanket

Hello sweeties!

How’s everything? Hope all is great for you! I am now in my 24th week of pregnancy and I’m feeling good so far…the baby is kicking me a lot and I must confess that this is one of the best things I just love about being pregnant ๐Ÿ™‚

Last week, I started a new blanket for him! This is his second one. The first was the joyful ripple if you still remember!

Well, this second blanket will be a granny one for the coldest days of winter as I’m crocheting it with the Nako Vizon yarn and a 4.5mm crochet hook…Wanna see some pics?

First I chose some colors…9 bright and lovely colors for the first two rounds of each granny…

and two colors for round3 and 4 of each square…A lovely light blue with a beautiful brown …

and then I started some grannies just to try out the result of this combination-idea I had on my mind for weeks ๐Ÿ˜‰

and I made 9 colorful 2 rounds-squares … and then I crocheted the third round in light blue…

then I added a 4th round in brown…

I’m joining the squares with this 4th round using the join-as-I-go method…

I just love how this turned out ๐Ÿ™‚ what do you think?

ย

I love these blue and brown colors surrounding the others ๐Ÿ™‚

There is something about granny squares that make me want to crochet all day long …I just can’t resist them ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m using the very classic pattern for these squares. You can find it here!

So, sweeties, I hope you like the beginning of my new wip!

Thank you so much for visiting today and thanks to all of you who voted for Le monde de Sucrette on the 2012 Blue ribbon Blogger awards of Country Living….Even thought I can not win and I just discovered this due to the lovely Denise who left for me a comment saying that this competition was for the residents of the U.S only ๐Ÿ™ I feel a little dissapointed and a little sad because I let you vote for a comptetion I could not win…so sorry my friend ๐Ÿ™ I did not knew ๐Ÿ™

Concerning the baby set pattern: I did not finish it yet…sorry again…cause this weekend I could not find time for it … I promise that it will be ready at the end of this week ๐Ÿ™‚

Have a lovely day wherever you are…I’m sendingย a lot of hugsย and kisses your way!

Poncho’s progress

Good morning lovelies,

Hope you’ve had a great weekend!

Today, I want to show you the progress I’ve made to my poncho so far…

Actually I am not working on it as much as I should…making one round every 3 or 4 days… I am in another kind of planet right now ๐Ÿ˜‰

But it is growing …very slow…but growing…

25 rounds so far…

To read more about the poncho’s cal, go HERE! You’re still welcome to join if you didn’t yet ๐Ÿ™‚

More progress on the joyful ripple and a new finished painting coming soon ๐Ÿ˜‰

Stay tuned and have a wonderful week!

The joyful ripple

Good morning sweeties,

How are you?

As you guessed from the title of this post, I’ve began a ripple blanket for my baby…Yes, babies do need blankets, don’t they? and I’m ready to make some for the little one I’m expecting…The first blanket will be a ripple…We’ll see for the others ๐Ÿ˜‰

I’m loving this ripple more than anything I’ve made before (but this is always the case for every project) and I’m loving working on it…

Let’s see some pics…

Do you remember the yarn I’ve shown you HERE?

Well…this is it ๐Ÿ™‚ The yarn is called Mirage. It is a 100% acrylic yarn…very soft and a pure pleasure to work with…The yarn is thin (crocheted with a 3mm crochet hook) and perfect for babies stuff…

This kind of thin yarn is kind of new to me as I’m used now to work with my nako and a 4.5mm hook…but it is ok…and I have difficultiesย putting downย my joyful ripple to work on other projects ๐Ÿ™‚ I am now totally addicted to it!

The colors are bold and bright. I love these colors for babies and I prefere them to the pastels ones… don’t know why…I don’t like to use a light blue for boys and a light pink for girls…I love bright and sunshiny colors for both ๐Ÿ™‚ perfectย against the mother’s baby blues ๐Ÿ˜‰

I don’t know yet if I’m expecting a boy or a girl but this kind of colorful project is good for both…

The pattern I’m using is very simple and soooo soothing and relaxing to work on…I think it is my favorite pattern.

You can find it HERE!ย

I’ve began with a 180 chain (16×11 +4). Your beginning chain must be a multiple of 11 + 4 in this pattern…

I’ve made more and more progress since I took these pics…and it is turing out very nice I must confess…will show youย very soon ๐Ÿ™‚

Have to go now… I’m taking the girls today to the hairdresser for a spring cut ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank you so much for your visit,

Have a beautiful day!
