A double tadaaaa

Hello hello hello!

What shall I show you first today? This post is special as I have to show you two finished projects and they are both lovely ๐Ÿ™‚

Ok. First.The pink stool.

I’ve had this wood stool from ages ago but it was in an ugly brown…I painted it pink and decided to make for it a nice crocheted cover…that was in may 2012 if my memory is good … I started it with the Ricco creative cotton… and never blogged about it…

Last week I decided to finish it ๐Ÿ˜‰

Because I was into “stools” and was making the red one for a special order, the pink one had to be done too…

So, here it is: Enjoyyyyyyyyy………………….

For the edging I sew this cute pompom trim to the back of the crochet ๐Ÿ™‚

I love pompoms ๐Ÿ˜€

This last pic show the pink color of the wood as it is “live”

This stool is a special order for a very kind lady… Even though I wished it was mine I am very happy that she loved it ๐Ÿ˜€ and that it will be cherished in its new home ๐Ÿ™‚

red-stool-6

Here is “Mustard” saying goodbye to his friend…

red-stool-7

He was with me during all the steps of the stool’s making ๐Ÿ˜‰

For this stool I used this yarnย worked with a 2.5mm crochet hook.

Now I am finishing a second cover with the rico creative cotton. (I began this cover 14 months ago but did not blogged about it) This second cover will be for the pink stool. More about this in a next post ๐Ÿ˜‰

Have to go now…

I hope that you loved the stool…

It is already gone to its new home and I kind of missed it here…

Have a lovely day!

The rocking chair: before and after :)

Gooooood morning my friend!

I am super duperย happy today to show you the rocking chair and its before and after…

I know that many of you suggested that I leave it in its original color … sorry ๐Ÿ™ I couldn’t …as I did not like at allย its sad grey color… I had to transform it so every time I look at it I have a smiley idiot face ๐Ÿ™‚ hahaha

I loved every suggestion you left for me… and after the original post I was a little bit confused between all these wonderful ideas: red, yellow, beige, blue, green, orange woooow! Wish I could have it in a different color each day…but I had to make a choice and here it was…

Are you readyyyyyyyy?

Before:

After:

Yes, a blue lavender…the pics don’t show the color as it is “live”…The real color is a little bit more “purple” if you see what I mean…

This is the fabric I chose…

I am really really really so in love with my rocking chair as I keep changing the blanket and the pillow on it… and looking at it and smiling ๐Ÿ™‚ yes, that idiot smile ๐Ÿ˜‰

Two last pics for you…

Excuse the pics…the light was too much strong this morning…but I could not resistย taking the pics as soon as I woke up ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank you dear friend for your visit today… I am always very happy to have you and to read your sweet and kind mails and comments ๐Ÿ™‚

Have a lovely sunshiny day!

P.S: I am still preapring the cute little crocheted “thing”…hope to show it to you soon ๐Ÿ˜‰

Progress

Good moooorning, hello, bonjouuuuur

How are you? Hope you’re fine today! It seems like time is flying for me these days and I’m running like crazy ๐Ÿ™‚ I wish I’ve had just a couple of hours per day to sit quietly and crochet ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m making progresss on the baby grannyย blanket but it is a very slow one … I really should be finishing this blanket by now…but with an average of 10 minutes of crochet per day it is quite impossible ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m loving the slow making of it…I must confess

Apart from that, life is quite and ordinary…we’re enjoying the summer days…we’re enjoying the “at-home” days…

ย and we’re making progress too in our “construction-works”…we’ve already made the walls to divide the space:

Here is my future craft rooms (It has the two windows you see on the right side of this pic and the door on the left) The other half where I’m standing to take this pic is my hubby’s place…We’ll haveย a big closet in the middle to make a boundary between our two spaces ๐Ÿ˜‰

Now, we’re gonna put new tiles on the floor (I’ll show you, next time, when it will be done)

Have a happy week my friend!
