Do you remember Love Birds?

Hello lovelies!

Great to see you after this week end. Do you remember Love Birds? It was back in April that I blogged about it for the last time … and it was here! 3 months ago…woooow…time flies :)

Well, I managed some free time to do some squares for Love birds in the past week…

and they are enough now for a single bedspread … 88 squares in total :) yahooooo!

I’m thinking about making the last round in blue for all these squares and then begin joining them together…

Maybe I should make a single bedspread for my son’s room (the one that is still in my tummy ;) ) instead of a double one for ours? What are you thinking right now? I’m a lazy lady :D eh? hehe

Maybe maybe maybe I’ll have enough courage to continue and make 33 more squares then it will be big enough for our double bed…maybe yes… maybe no… who knows?

I love this pic :) (above) mmmh … crocheted squares of yarn stacked like a big sandwich :)

and this one too :) my tower of happiness :)

Don’t you love looking at pics of crocheted squares? Or am I boring you? Hope I’m not ;)

Well, one last thing before leaving you today is a BIG BIG thank you to a lovely friend of mine who sent me the most adorable handmade gift… a lovely leather door key…who came with the postman from Paris…

Rosemarie has a beautiful blog that you should really visit here! and she’s one of the most adorable and generous person I’ve ever met in blogland! Merci! GRAND MERCI du fond du coeur Rosemarie!

Well, my sweeties, one last pic of yarn porn before leaving you today…

Wishing you a wonderful week full of good things :)

Ha ha Sucrette .. I love all your squares and your funny comments about them. How about making a few more so you have enough for your bed and your son’s bed ? That would be really nice. The little key case your friend sent looks so very cute. xoxox

I love your tower of crochet squares. I will enjoy seeing the final blanket no matter which size you decide to make it.

I don’t think you are lazy. It must be hard being pregnant in hot weather. We don’t have that problem here in England :-)

    Hi!
I would make this blanket for myself, if I were you. So you will have a wonderful memory of your pregnancy. For your little tummy boy you can make one, when he’s arrived.
    :)

  11. Hi

They look wonderful. If the stack of granny squares look so wonderful, how would the blanket be! Another 33 for someone who has made 80, is a child’s play. So get going :)

And I would keep the blanket for yourself if I were you. You’ll need it to snuggle under once your son is born :)

Hi Angie! You’ve got to continue ’til you have enough for a double bed. You know why? LOL After you blogged about it I felt inspired, bought yarn and have been working on a bed spread for our bed. A special surprise for my husband for our 20th anniversary. Come on, we can do it. I started joining mine a while ago. I’ll send you a pic, when I have access to my camera again.

Keep on going. We can do it : )

  18. Maggie Hassett says:

Hi Angie! I vote that you should make it for your double bed for you and your hubby. The pattern is so nice and the colors are gorgeous!
Have a good week of relaxing while crocheting your lovely bed spread!

I think you should make it for your bed. That way you have an “excuse” to make you boy bump another twin size blanket. I love looking at your stacked grannies. Lovely!

What a lovely stack you have there! I have been debating on making a granny squares blanket…perhaps with the log cabin design? I would be a very nice way to use up by bits and pieces…hmmm

  22. Love to ready your blog. You are so entertaining & so good at hooky beauty! Love your squares. Do you only do chain 1 in the corners? I tried that & my squares turned a little “wonky”. Maybe it’s just me? Will tell you that after seeing all your beautiful grannies I am now so in the mood to do the same thing.

  23. Annie says:
