A monday morning…

Good morning my sweeties,
How are you feeling today? How was your weekend?
Here, the weather was perfectly springy this weekend and the children played outside … it was a perfect weekend with sunshine and even birds singing…
This morning, the gray weather came back again and after the girls go to school I took some pics of the garden… a garden a little sad without sunshine and the children’s laughter …

I live near my parent’s house and we have the garden between the two houses…

So, from our terrace, the girls can call Geddo and Setto 🙂 (It is how we call the grandparents here in Lebanon)

I’ve made some progress with my baby blanket this weekend…

I’ve already crocheted all the circles and I still have to join two rows of squares and make a cute edging…

So, my sweeties, a tadaaaa post is coming soon 😉

Also, next time, I’ll open for you this lovely book (in the pic above) so you can take a peek to its beautiful pics…Believe me, it is a DELICIOUS book 🙂

So, stay tuned 😉

and have a marvellous monday!

Sucrette

P.S: About the Nako yarn, I know that many of you would love to try out this yarn and order some online, I’m trying as hard as I can to make that happen, I’ll tell you more about it if it works…(crossing my fingers)!!

Hi Angie… It was very spring-like here too this weekend.. yesterday especially held a lot of promise.. but today.. ahh back to fog and the heating on.. but only 2 weeks until the clocks ‘spring forward’!
How lovely for your children to grow up so close to your Grandparents.. lots more love to go round! Your baby blanket is looking so pretty… I think it will guarantee a happy, healthy baby.. and I’m looking forward to seeing more of that book! Have a lovely week.. :)x

It’s great when the parents are living close to you, especially when you have a shared garden. My parents live in the three thousand kms away from me on another continent…
I like your almost-ready-blanket as usual!
About the Nako yarn I’m crossing my fingers as well… It will be great when it will work.
Have a sunny day, dear Angie! ♥

    bisous

Yes, the uncertainty of spring weather! We had sunshine and 60’s this past weekend; and with 8″ of snow left from the last storm, plenty of mud this morning. Pouring rain out right now, washing the winter blues away. I hope!

Refreshing to see green grass on your pictures!! the blanket is looking good, excited to see the ta-dah moment soon. Have a great week.

Again thank you for sharing your home. How wonderful that you live so close to your parents. I also am lucky that my child and grandchildren are almost as close. If you could get the mako yarn to us- oh my what a lovely happening. Thank you for working on it.

    Pretty pretty baby blanket 😉
Guess what? I started Miss T, a turtle from the pattern I bought from you 😉 it is for my oldest girl, and she picked out the colors. I have finished all of the hexagons and put them together last night. I must make the pillow, and she chose a rut color for all 4 feet, so I have that yet to do, and light turquoise for the turtle’s head. It seems bigger than I thought it would be, I guess because I am using a 4.25 hook and thicker yarn. But she was home this weekend and was very excited about it when she saw it put together . I am planning on posting pictures of my crochet projects on my blog and linking back to your site. Again thank you for selling the pattern for the adorable turtle 🙂 Have a lovely week!

What type of yarn did you use for this project? It is so beautiful and looks so soft! Is it cotton?

    Thank you!
