Stripes of love…more progress

Good morniiiiing!

Hope you’re feeling well today 🙂

I’ve added more stripes to my Hubby’s blanket… This blanket is slowly growing and I love it so far… and I love every stitch crocheted while thinking of him …

I even added purple as my friend Debi suggested … and it turned out very nice with the other colors… (Thank you Debi!)

What do you think? Is it still masculine? My hubby loves it so far and he don’t care so much for the colors …he just told me that he wants it to be big …big enough for him and that means VERYYY BIG 🙂 Hope I’ll not get bored… 😉

but I do not get bored easily as I have many wips… and I mix between them 🙂

Now I ran out of yarn for this blanket…This is the perfect excuse to go yarn shopping today!! yehhhhhhhhh!!

I just LOOOOVEEE to buy yarn … I’m gonna add some for Stripes of Love and some more so I can join the ripple along held by Lucy and Heather! I’m very happy to start a new ripple… It is always soo good to start a project…

specially if it is a blanket! Although I have two blankets on the go right now I am sooo thrilled to start a third one!!!

Wishing you a Wonderful Wednesday!

Sucrette

Hello Sucrette! Your blanket looks wonderful, I love your colour combination, still very masculine. I started my ripple blanket yesterday evening, I couldn´t resist. : ) I´m in row 4 now and I am happy with it! So I have two blankets to do now and to go yarn shopping today too, yippie!
    Have a wonderful week! Barbina

Hi Angie, how come you moved? I am having major internet issues at home right now. Can’t upload anything. With all the power cuts in Lebanon, do you often have a problem with your internet? Love how your stripe is coming along. I’ve never done a ripple — I’m afraid it would turn into a tidal wave if i attempted it. I don’t like anything that requires a whole lot of concentration. And now, I have never tried using thread for crochet — actually, I did try a long time ago, but was just too fiddly for me. 🙂 Hope your day is great. Tammy

It’s lovely as all your blankets are, I really like the thin white stripe between the other colours it’s very effective.

Wow Angie! So many WIPs! That blanket looks masculine enough 🙂 love all the colors. And I LOVE yarn shopping, too! I just shopped for lots of them yesterday from an online shop. It is a very addictive thing :p Do show us all the yarns that you bought!

I just finished a Hubby blanket too. Your’s is masculine enough. I really like the colors. I also have two blankets in the works right now, so don’t feel like I should join the ripple along. I wanted to as soon as I read their posts. Lol. Have to be strong and finish the ones I am working on.

I believe there is a blanket male nor female. It is a blanket for people (human people) 🙂 I like it

Beautiful blanket! Funny but since I’ve been reading your blog and seeing your wonderful work I have developed an addiction to buying yarn too, LOL… hugs Elly

How beautiful is this blanket. I knit one for my son who says he does not like grannys because they have holes.
