I would love to join in, too. I have some yarn on order and when it comes in, I’m thinking a Giant Granny would be beautiful! Thanks so much for a fun challenge!

Ooh, a CAL!! I always seem to miss the start of these things & have been thinking of doing a blanket…

When are you planning to start? It would be good to have a flickr group to post piccies & regular updates to see how we are all getting along 🙂

  5. Annemarie

It looks like your CAL is going to be whopper. I’m in too! I’ve been following your blog for quite some time and you’re very pursuasive. Plus, I have some Phildar Oxygene lying around that would make a very pretty giant granny. Thanks for the opportunity to play along!

  6. Rene

    Angie,
Flickr or raverly (I’m signed up on both) would be fine with me, unless someone else wants something else.

I’m getting ready to photgraph my started granny and post it on my blog for now. It has about 7 rounds so far. I need to dig out some more colors of yarn to add to it.

I’m glad so many people have joined in on this giant granny square blanket.

    Off to photograph!!

    René

  7. Lynne

Count me in too! I just finished a scarf, so that means I can start something new. I already have 2 other blankets going, so what is one more Ha Ha . I will post about it on my blog with a picture. Yaaay!

I have already been bitten by this bug – can I still join if I already have 40 rows? Or must I start a new one?

Creo que es aquí dónde debo apuntarme al grupo para tejer el Granny gigante. Pues ya está hecho.

I’m a faithful follower of your blog and I want to join in the GIANT Granny square. Is there a deadline like 6 months or a year to finish??

  18. Debi Y.

Hi Angie – a group on Ravelry would be good. I’d love to be able to see everyone’s progress as we go along. 🙂

  19. Sara

This is so fun!! There are lovely ladies from all over the world doing this!! It would be so cool to see a map of us all! Congrats Angie for being the United Nations of Crochet!! My first attempt turned into a color disaster! So I’ve now started a ‘glamorous granny’!! I’m with you OhAngelina – this is my first granny. and my first CAL! 13 addictive rounds in! Can’t wait to see pics – flickr or ravelry are great for me and I’ll post to my blog.
