Yellow wood stool before and after and a new cushion too …

Good morning lovelies,

How are you today? We’ve got a beautiful Easter here and the girls are still on vacation for a week…They’ll be back to school on the 3d of May and I’ll be back to my normal not-a-full-time-mom life πŸ™‚

This is an old wood stool I’ve had in my garage …

that I decided to bring back to “life” …with some crochet of course…

I used the Ricco creative cotton with a 4mm hook…Perfect for the flowers πŸ™‚

And while I was working with the cotton yarn I decided to finish a cushion I started months ago…The cushion needed 2 more rounds…and a hand stitchΒ  to a fabric one πŸ˜‰

Love when I finish small projects…

It’s been a productive week!! (sigh of happiness πŸ™‚ )

Have a great monday!

Very cute Angie! I am making a small baby blankie for my third one (due in June) with the Rico cotton Aran at the moment and I’m loving working with that yarn. This is the first time I use cotton and has a lovely feeling about it. My girls are back to school on the 3rd also so we are enjoying the lovely weather! Have a great Monday, Pati x

This is SO cute! I love all the colors. How do you pick the design or the combination of colors? I am so safe with colors, so I am always interested in knowing how others are choosing their color layouts πŸ™‚

Hello Angie, just a quick message to say that I have now inserted the pics of the ponchos I made for my girls on flickr. I mentioned that I took the pattern from your blog (I hope this is ok with you). You can see them under (pati from London). I hope you can find them there otherwise…. I placed them under attic 24 inspired group also as I learnt crochet through her patterns. Thanks again for your inspiration. Pati x
